Ben jij iemand die vragen uit de business begrijpt én deze kan vertalen naar sterke Power BI-oplossingen? Als Data & Analytics Consultant – Business Analyst / Power BI Specialist ben jij de schakel tussen business en technologie.

Je helpt klanten hun vraagstukken te structureren, maakt keuzes inzichtelijk met data en realiseert oplossingen in Power BI en Microsoft Fabric die écht worden gebruikt.

Onze interne projecten draaien om jouw eigen interesse – van Fabric, AI, Copilot en Databricks tot datastrategie en het geven van trainingen. Ons interne rapportageplatform Nexus, het voorbeeld van “Eat your own dog food”, de data platform accelerator die wij bij klanten implementeren gebruiken we zelf natuurlijk ook! Of denk aan Project ARA, een nieuwe accelerator in Microsoft Fabric om nieuwe projecten bij klanten een vliegende start te kunnen geven.

Je werkt in het Data Solutions & Insights (DSI) team van Macaw: een hechte groep consultants die inhoud, samenwerking en kwaliteit belangrijk vinden. 

Wat ga je doen?

Analyse & Advies

• In gesprek gaan met business stakeholders om doelen, problemen en informatiebehoeften scherp te krijgen;

• Vertalen van businessvragen naar duidelijke requirements, user stories en KPI-definities;

• Analyseren en beoordelen van bestaande Power BI- en data-oplossingen (performance, governance, datamodel, adoptie).

Power BI & Fabric

• Ontwerpen en bouwen van goed gestructureerde datamodellen (ster-schema’s);

• Ontwikkelen van betrouwbare en goed presterende Power BI rapporten met DAX en M;

• Werken met Microsoft Fabric concepten zoals lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines en semantic models;

• Meedenken over migraties, optimalisaties en governance-inrichting.

Adoptie & Samenwerking

• Stakeholders meenemen in inzichten en keuzes;

• Begeleiden volgens het principe voordoen – samendoen – zelf doen;

• Verzorgen van kennissessies, workshops of trainingen (optioneel).

 

Wat breng jij mee?

• 3-6 jaar ervaring als data consultant, business analyst, BI consultant of Power BI specialist;

• Comfortabel in gesprekken met business en IT;

• Sterke basis in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, datamodellering);

• Ervaring met of sterke interesse in Microsoft Fabric;

• Affiniteit met governance, performance en lifecycle management;

• SQL-kennis is een plus;

• Je werkt gestructureerd, analytisch en durft ‘waarom?’ te vragen;

• Vloeiend Nederlands, professioneel Engels (Duits is een plus);

PL-300 en/of DP-600 certificeringen zijn welkom, maar motivatie en kwaliteit wegen zwaarder.

Hours and location

32-40 hours, location Hoofddorp, at home or at the client’s premises.

Salary

Step 1
Getting to know you
We would like to get to know you! After you have indicated your interest to us, you will be called by one of our Recruiters. We will tell you more about Macaw, have a genuine interest in you and will be happy to answer your first questions.
Step 2
The first conversation
Unlike what you might be used to at other companies, we like to let you talk directly to the people who really understand the job. We invite you to the office for a good cup of coffee, and pair you up with one or two people within the team of the position you are applying for. They will be happy to explain what their day looks like, but are also curious about what drives you. Approachable, inspiring and informative: this is what we aim for!
Step 3
The second conversation
Hooray, you have come so far that a follow-up has been scheduled. We will carefully select two new interviewees you will often have to deal with in your job. This could be a direct colleague and someone from management. At the end of the interview, you will know for sure: I want to work at Macaw!
Step 4
An assessment
Depending on the position and your ambitions, we will schedule an assessment. Good to know is that we do not use this assessment as a selection tool, but as a development tool! We do not judge you on it, but rather look at where we, as a potential employee, can support you in your development.
